Artistic Statment

Each portrait has a voice, a vision of being. I may start with my own idea for the work, but the muse takes over, and the finished portrait is far beyond what I envisioned. My portraits have a life force. They have an energy in composition that transports itself into the eyes and emotions of the viewer, appreciator, and buyer.
